Unit IV Arts
Unit IV Arts, the name of Ellen's book arts studio in Gambier, Ohio, was inspired by a vintage Ginn Basic Card Set, a box of vocabulary word flashcards used with unit four of Ginn's Reader and printed in a classic typeface that evoked Ellen's memories of learning to read. Unit IV Arts produces commissions, collaborative artist books with poets, writers and printmakers and artist books containing Ellen's own poems.
